WAYS AND MEANS COMMITTEE
The Ways and Means committee is tasked with formulating, organizing, initiating, and implementing fundraising activities. The FNSA manages income for three major expense categories: scholarships, the annual convention, and operational expenses. Scholarships are funded by fundraising initiatives, donations, and sustaining memberships. Operational expenses, including some transportation and accommodation costs for FNSA board members attending official business, are covered by membership fees. The largest annual expense by far is the FNSA convention, covered by a combination of sponsorships and membership fees. All funds are managed via collaboration between the Secretary-Treasurer and Executive Director.

This committee is chaired by the Secretary-Treasurer voted into the position at the annual state convention. Their appointment continues for one year. Committee members are welcome to apply here at any time following the annual state convention. Their appointment continues for one year or up to six months following graduation.
