Meet Your Region 5 Director

Nai'Jay Davis proudly serves as the Region 5 Director for the Florida Nursing Students Association (FNSA). She is currently a nursing student at Florida State College at Jacksonville, where she also serves as Vice President of her Student Nurses' Association chapter. In addition to her regional leadership role, Nai'Jay serves as the Resolutions Committee Chairperson, supporting student involvement in issues and initiatives that impact nursing students and the nursing profession.

Drawing on the leadership, discipline, and teamwork developed during her service in the U.S. Navy, Nai'Jay brings a strong commitment to serving and advocating for nursing students. She is passionate about elevating the student voice, strengthening collaboration among nursing students, and expanding access to hands-on simulation and clinical training opportunities.

Her interests also extend to patient advocacy and healthcare policy, with a focus on helping nursing students recognize the impact they can have both at the bedside and within the broader healthcare system. Through her leadership and work with the Resolutions Committee, Nai'Jay hopes to encourage future nurses to become engaged advocates and lead with excellence, resilience, and compassion.

As Region 5 Director, Nai'Jay is committed to strengthening connections among nursing programs throughout the region and creating opportunities for students to learn, collaborate, and become more involved within FNSA. She looks forward to representing Region 5 and supporting nursing students as they grow into confident professionals and future leaders in nursing.

FNSA Region 5 – Active Chapters by County

Florida Nursing Students Association (FNSA) Region 5 proudly represents nursing students across Palm Beach, Broward, Martin, and St. Lucie counties. The region is home to several active and engaged chapters, including Broward College and Nova Southeastern University in Broward County; Florida Atlantic University, Palm Beach Atlantic University, Palm Beach State College, and South University – West Palm Beach in Palm Beach County; Indian River State College serving Martin and St. Lucie counties; and Keiser University campuses in Fort Lauderdale (Broward County) and Port St. Lucie (St. Lucie County). Together, these institutions form a strong collaborative network committed to leadership development, professional growth, advocacy, and advancing the future of nursing across South Florida.
