BIO: My name is Kelsie Brown. I have worked as a nursing assistant since 2028, and in August 2024, I graduated from Seminole State College with my ASN, and I am currently getting my BSN. I will be starting nursing on a Neuro PCU at Adventhealth Winter Park. Eventually, I would like to work in a neuro-pediatrics unit. I am very excited to be the president of the FNSA this year and all the learning experiences that will come with it.

BIO: I’m M’Alee, and I’m proud to say this is my second year serving on the FNSA Board! Now, I am the 1st Vice President of both my local SNA chapter and FNSA. I was born and raised in a small town in southwest Florida, and I’m happy to represent South Florida State College. I graduate with my ADN in May of 2025, and I have an interest in the ED, L/D, and pediatrics! Aside from nursing school, I love outdoor activities and being in nature. My bucket list is full of travel destinations and adrenaline inducing experiences like skydiving and bungee jumping. I can’t wait to see what the future holds!

BIO: My name is Faith Joaquin, and I am currently enrolled as a Nursing Student at Keiser University in Tampa, where I am scheduled to graduate in April of 2025 with my BSN degree. Currently, I am serving as the President of our local SNA Chapter, and after graduation, it is my desire to work as an RN in the Neonatal ICU. I want to work in this specialty because of my burning passion for this vulnerable population. I want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of both the infants and their families. This is my first year serving on the FSNA Executive Board, and I am honored to serve as the 2nd Vice President. In my free time, I enjoy volunteering for local ministries, traveling, and spending time with my family, friends, and my French bulldog, Georgia. I am very excited to take on this new position and see what the future holds for FNSA!

BIO: I'm Ynden. This is my second year serving as the Region 2 Director of the FNSA, and I will be finishing my ADN Degree at Florida State College at Jacksonville as the President of our local SNA chapter. After graduating in May 2025, I hope to work as an RN in the ICU. I love travelling and the outdoors! I once hiked for 12 hours to reach the summit of Mt. Pulag, the third-highest point in the Philippines. My other favorite travel destinations have been Kyoto, Alaska, and the Reserva Nacional de Fauna Andina in Bolivia

BIO: I’m Georgea Serwe! I am serving as the Region 3 Director of the FNSA. I am currently a BSN student at Adventhealth University. I currently serve on the SNA as the Membership Coordinator. I will graduate with my BSN in December 2025. I am so excited to serve and can’t wait for this year! A little about me: I am a first-generation college student, I have my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of North Florida, and I am an Alpha Delta Pi alumna! I love traveling! (My dream is to be a traveling nurse.) I love baseball!

BIO: My name is Erika, and I am currently enrolled as a Nursing Student at AdventHealth University, where I am pursuing my BSN degree. I am passionate about providing compassionate care and am working hard to make a positive impact as a healthcare worker. I am currently serving as Vice President of our local SNA chapter and enjoy being actively involved in leadership and supporting my peers in this role.
Outside of nursing, I am a proud wife and mom of three girls under the age of 10, with my youngest being 2. In my free time, other than acting as Mrs. Incredible, I am learning Spanish to become bilingual, as I see the immense value it brings to patient care in diverse communities. I am honored to serve in my leadership role as a regional director for FNSA and can’t wait to see what this new year brings.

BIO: My name is Ivis Mendoza. I am a nursing student at AdventHealth University, working toward a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), and this is my First year serving as a Region Director. I have a deep passion for helping others. I have found my calling is in nursing, where I can make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need. I am a proud mother of two beautiful babies, who I can’t wait to show that everything is possible if you set your mind to it. My dream is to become and CRNA and give back to my community. I am excited for what the future holds and can’t wait to continue growing in my Nursing Journey, and continue to learn and serve as much as I can as Regional Director.

BIO: My name is Geraldine, and I was born in Cúcuta, Colombia. I am bilingual, fluent in reading and writing Spanish. Currently, I am pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at AdventHealth University, where I am deeply passionate about providing holistic patient care.
I serve as the Secretary of the Student Nurses Association (SNA) Executive Board and am honored to expand my leadership skills as a Regional Director for the Florida Nursing Students Association (FNSA). I am enthusiastic about contributing to the growth and success of this committee. Outside of my academic and professional endeavors, I am a proud mother of three wonderful children, aged 13, 12, and 5. My days are filled with the joy and busyness of their extracurricular activities, and I cherish the time spent with them and my supportive husband. I am excited to continue learning, growing, and making a meaningful impact in the nursing community.

BIO: I'm Sarah Etienne, a dedicated nursing student with a passion for healthcare and personal growth. Currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Nursing at AdventHealth University, I'm aspiring to specialize in Pediatric Nursing. I'm proud to serve as the Hotline Editor for FNSA and the Internet Coordinator for my local chapter at AHU, while also working as a Nurse Technician at AdventHealth Orlando for a Surgical Transplant PCU.
When I'm not focused on my professional development, I love staying active and exploring creative pursuits. You might find me reading at Barnes & Noble, practicing piano, learning the art of crocheting, or getting in a workout at the gym. I'm also a proud dog mom to my two furry companions, Kodi and Kari.
