Colten Denby is an ADN student at South Florida State College and proudly serves as the Region 4 Director for the Florida Nursing Students Association (FNSA). In addition to his regional leadership role, he is the Breakthrough to Nursing Committee Chairperson, where he advocates for expanding opportunities, access, and support for prospective and current nursing students across Florida.

Colten is an active officer in his college's Student Nurses Association, working to strengthen student engagement and create meaningful opportunities for growth and leadership development. Before entering nursing, he served as the Vice President of Leadership for Phi Theta Kappa, where he led initiatives that encouraged academic excellence and empowered students to recognize their own potential.

With a goal of becoming a NICU nurse, Colten is dedicated to lifelong learning and plans to pursue a graduate degree to further his education. He believes deeply in servant leadership and strives to uplift, guide, and motivate others through empathy, encouragement, and accountability.

As Region 4 Director, Colten is committed to representing and supporting every school within his region, helping each chapter and every student reach their highest potential through connection, inclusion, and purpose-driven leadership.

This region is critical for fostering connections between nursing students in both coastal and inland communities. Counties included in Region 4 are: Citrus, Hardee, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, and Sumter.
