Lena is a full-time BSN student at AHU and proudly serves as the Region 3 Director for the Florida Nursing Students Association (FNSA). She also holds the position of Legislation & Political Action Committee Chairperson, where she advocates for policy awareness, civic engagement, and student involvement in shaping the future of nursing legislation and public health initiatives.
With a long-standing passion for supporting growing families, Lena has worked as a doula since 2017, an experience that deeply inspired her to pursue nursing and continues to guide her commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
After completing her BSN, she plans to further her education and become a Certified Nurse Midwife, continuing her work in maternal health and family support.
Outside of academics and leadership, Lena enjoys singing, gaming, playing volleyball, and spending time with her husband of 13 years. She values community, connection, and personal growth, and is dedicated to uplifting and empowering others through her service and leadership.
