Celebrating MLK Day of Service

Region 1 Director Ifeadi Ofokansi, Chair of the Community Health Committee, led a community-driven act of service in partnership with AdventHealth University (AHU) students. In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the group partnered with the Salt Homeless Ministry to serve the local community. Nursing students distributed warm blankets, served soup, offered prayers, and demonstrated compassionate care throughout the event. During the outreach, students also assisted with a medical emergency involving one of the clients, exemplifying the professionalism, leadership, and service-centered values of nursing.
